Norway’s oil industry helps strengthen Norwegian market

Norway’s oil industry helps strengthen Norwegian market According to a report recently released by Source Information Services, Norway is the most stable market in Scandinavia. Despite the Nordic market growth falling by 2%, the Norwegian market managed to grow by 5%. The biggest growth in this region comes from the energy sector, mainly from the Norwegian oil and gas industry.

Alisdair Munro, the head of Consulting Norge, commented:“Although Norway has a smaller consulting market than its neighbours in Denmark and Sweden it was the powerhouse of growth across the region between 2011 and 2012. But growth here – of 5% – has largely come from the oil and gas sector and relies very heavily on a very small number of very big organisations.“

Due to the growth of the oil and gas market, TUjobs will be posting daily new job vacancies on their website, making it easier for people to apply for international jobs. Leading multinational companies in the oil sector such as Experis, GK Norge and Statoil, amongst others, are now advertising their vacancies with TUjobs – the new online recruitment company specialised in online recruitment for the oil and gas sectors. The online platform has already released many job vacancies over the past year and the number of available jobs is on the rise.
