iTrust launches a UK version of the BBB for online businesses and consumers

iTrust UK will soon launch a UK online accreditation platform similar to the USA/Canada’s BBB (Better Business Bureau).

iTrust aims to provide an independent and impartial platform for both business and consumers to resolve disputes within 21 days. iTrust plans to build online credibility and accountability for online businesses as well as instill confidence amongst consumers when purchasing online.

iTrust UK’s account manager Lana Hayward is confident they can deliver a reliable alternative the BBB. “The UK has never had a credible alternative to the BBB and online buying confidence is at an all time low.” Lana ads, “Businesses can place a free or verified iTrust seal on their website, which consumers can click to verify the company’s accreditation. Consumers can submit a complaint to iTrust and verified businesses have agreed to resolve any disputes within 21 days.”

Lana was resolute when asked if she was concerned the GBP299 per year fee for verified members will undermine their impartiality. “Our terms & conditions are very clear for all verified members. They must abide by our code of practice, clearly display their postal address and contact details on their website, as well as agree to resolve any customer complaints within 21 days. In return businesses will gain the trust and confidence of website visitors and ultimately a substantial increase in sales conversions.”

Business can download a free iTrust seal for their site or apply for verified status by visiting the iTrust website at http://www.itrustuk.com or by calling Tel: 0800 6899 311
