Hreggviður Steinar Magnússon has been appointed as the new Managing Director of The Engine. He assumed the position on 1 September 2022.
According to Icelandic business digital newspaper, Mr. Magnusson has been acting Digital Director at The Engine since 2018 and serving on the executive board of both The Engine and creative agency Pipar\TBWA, part of the TBWA collective worldwide. He has extensive experience in leadership positions in digital strategy dating back to 2009 coupled with a M.Sc. degree in Marketing and a second M.Sc. degree in Corporate Finance.
The Engine specialises in digital execution ranging from performance marketing, managing paid search, paid social and programmatic. Also providing a host of digital services, including SEO, online PR, ecommerce tactics and B2B digital strategies. The company has offices in Reykjavik, Oslo and Copenhagen and is eager to open up offices in Helsinki.

The Engine will work in close collaboration with TBWA Nordic creative agencies during the next months.
