New Website Launched to Help Welsh Dog Owners Find Dog Furiendly Places

Wales, United Kingdom – January 1st, 2018: The creators of Dog Furiendly have launched an all-new and interactive website for the dog owners of Wales. The website will serve as an authentic platform for listing pubs, cafés, restaurants, shops, visitor attractions and events across Wales, which allow dogs on their premises. Dog Furiendly will also host a launch party in collaboration with BrewDog, who have become one of the very first among Dog Furiendly’s verified listings. The launch event will take place on Sunday, January 7th between 2-5 PM, at BrewDog, Cardiff.

Emma and her Dachshund, Seth from North Wales, are proud members of the platform’s growing tail wagging community.
Emma said, “I can’t wait to start using the new website, with its new search bar and map function finding dog friendly places will be a walk in the park! We recently visited Aberystwyth and thanks to Dog Furiendly found plenty of new places to visit, like the Libertine Cocktail Bar.”

“We’re excited to explore new places and of course we will be sure to submit new Dog Furiendly finds to help the community too.”
An estimated number of more than 420,000 dog owners in Wales will benefit from this new online platform. Moreover, the website will help those visiting Wales with their dog. The new website is entirely free to use and dog lovers are invited to sign up, review and submit listings. The platform has already helped over 5,000 people to find dog friendly places in Wales since its launch this October.
According to research carried out by Channel Four’s Dogs: Their Secret Lives, 85% of the dogs studied showed signs of not coping when left alone. Founder of Dog Furiendly, Adele Pember started the website after struggling to find places to take her Jack Russell cross, Charlie, who also suffers from separation anxiety.

Adele, from Cwmbran, said: “A lot of dogs like Charlie don’t like being away from their owners. It’s heart-breaking when you have to close the door and look at those puppy dog eyes. Many owners in Wales face this tough situation every single day.
“Since launching Dog Furiendly in October, we’ve helped so many people to find new places, our community is growing every day!”
Dog Furiendly is supported by Entrepreneurial Spark in Cardiff, the world’s largest free people and business accelerator, powered by NatWest.

The new website www.dogfuriendly.com is available from today (Monday 1st January 2018). Their interactive community can be found on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook @dogfuriendly.
