New Job Opportunities in the Oil Industry in Norway

Over the next two years, Norway predicts it will recruit around 5,000 engineers for the oil industry sector. The expansion of the oil industry worldwide and the reputation of Norwegian companies in the sector led to an accentuated shortage of qualified workforce in the market.

Currently, many companies operating in the Petroleum sector are announcing their vacancies and searching for skilled workers using online recruitment websites. With this in mind, a new online recruitment website, www.tujobs.com, was created in order to fill the shortage in Norway and other countries including Switzerland and Singapore.

Due to the growth of the Oil & Gas market, TUjobs will be posting daily new job vacancies on their website, making it easier for people to apply for international jobs.

Leading multinational companies in the oil sector such as Aibel, GK Norge and Statoil, amongst others, are now advertising their vacancies with TUjobs.  Amonstg the many vacancies available on the website, the highlights for this week are:

• Technical Safety Engineer at Aibel in Singapore
• Riser Specialist at Statoil in Oslo
• Downhole Service Technician at National Oilwell Varco in Stavanger
• Engineering Managers at Aibel in Forus

All the requirements and information for each vacancy can be found online on the respective job ad. The application process is conducted fairly quick and in an easy way at TUjobs or in the respective advertiser’s website.

Regardless of your experience and career stage, TUjobs offers vacancies for all levels, from beginners to the highly experienced.
