Kristjan Mar Hauksson announces closing date for 2012 European Search Awards entries

Kristjan Mar Hauksson, SEMPO member and Nordic eMarketing founder, has announced that Friday 4th May is the closing date for all entries for the 2012 European Search Awards (ESA).

The European Search Awards celebrates the very best in search, PPC and digital marketing from across the continent. There are 17 categories in total for campaigns, software, teams, and the individuals behind them – submission for all entries is free.

Guest judge Kristjan Mar Hauksson believes that the awards should be completely transparent and beyond reproach, therefore judges and their companies are exempt from entering the awards.

There will be a judging session to decide the winners on Wednesday 16th May in Manchester, followed by the announcement of the shortlist on Monday 21st May.

Judges alongside Kristjan Mar include Jon Myers, Director, Account Management UK and Ireland, Yahoo!; Guillermo Vilarroig, Co-Founder & Director, Overalia & Chair SEMPO Spain; GJ Bramer, Bramer Web & Organisatie & SEMPO Europe Committee; Massimo Burgio, Founder, Global Search Interactive & SEMPO Europe Committee, and Paul Doleman, Chief Executive Officer, iCrossing & co-chair SEMPO UK.

The awards’ dinner takes place on the evening of Thursday 5th July 2012 in the historic St. Olof Chapel at the NH Barbizon Palace in Amsterdam. This five star hotel is conveniently situated opposite the city’s Central Train Station; a 15-minute train ride to and from Schipol Airport. The hotel is situated in the heart of Old Amsterdam and is a short walk to many of the city’s most famous attractions.

The European Search Awards is supported by SEMPO, and its headline sponsor, Manual Link Building, in association with Don’t Panic, as well as reception sponsors SEOhosting. There are also other packages available for companies interested in sponsorships.
