Japanese Search Marketing Specialist to speak at International Search Summit London

The International Search Summit London has confirmed that Koichiro Fukasawa of Wasabi Communications will be a speaker at the event at the British Library on 24th November.

Koichiro will be speaking on the mobile web, sharing learnings from the success of the mobile web in Japan and discussing how they can be applied in other markets. With the increasing global adoption of smartphones and tablets, mobile is a key factor in international search campaigns, especially in many developing markets where mobile penetration in higher than PC.

Based in Japan, Koichiro founded Wasabi Communications in 2002 and has been providing search services to companies in Japan and around the world ever since.  He speaks regularly at industry conferences and has spoken several times at the International Search Summit, focusing on the Japanese market.

Other speakers at the Summit include Andy Atkins-Krüger of WebCertain, Brett Petersen from GlobalWebIndex, aimClear’s Marty Weintraub and Martin MacDonald of OMD. Topics range from international SEO to geo-targeting to global video optimisation.

The International Search Summit is focused entirely on multilingual and international search and social media topics. Speakers will share experiences, ideas and best practices to help organisations get the best results from their global campaigns.

The Summit will be held at the British Library in London on 24th November, 2011. Early Bird tickets are available until Monday 31st October, with discounts available for group bookings.

The International Search Summit is run by international web agency WebCertain. It was started in London in 2008 and now runs across the US and Europe, often in conjunction with SMX events
