Iceland has a reputation for being horrendously expensive, but this summer one low-fares airline is offering customers flights to Reykjavik, Iceland from as little as 49 GBP including fees and taxes.
Iceland Express, the country’s only budget airline, is currently running a summer sale on flights to Iceland from the following European airports; Basel, Berlin, Billund, Copenhagen, Eindhoven, Frankfurt Hahn, London Stansted and Paris.
The special offer is available on a first come, first served basis, and to select flights between July 18th and September 14th. A current search shows that there are still a number of special offer fares from London Stansted to Reykjavik in August. Taxes and fees are included in the price.
Iceland Express is Iceland’s only budget airline and operates low-cost flights to Iceland from Barcelona, Alicante, Berlin, London, Paris, Eindhoven, Frankfurt, Basel, Billund, Friedrichshafen, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Stockholm.
The airline recently began regular scheduled flights to Warsaw, making Iceland Express the first airline to fly directly between Iceland and Poland.
