NTI Introduces SERIMUX® Console Switch

Network Technologies International Ltc today announced the addition of the SERIMUX® Console Switch to its popular line of console switches.

The SERIMUX Console Switch grants IT managers the ability to cost effectively manage up to 32 serial devices, including servers, switches, routers, and telecom gear. The switch can be controlled via an ASCII terminal with menu-driven integrated software, the front panel keypad, or optional Ethernet interface. Each switch also has one RJ45 connector for a local terminal.

Programmable device names and menu-driven device selection simplify switching between devices. The Console Switch provides out-of-band access to network devices (servers, routers, network switches, and any other network devices allowing console operation using RS232). The dual power option creates a redundant power system protecting the console switch from any power failure issues.

NTI units connect between computers and peripherals, are easy to use, and require no special tools or software for immediate operation.
