Global SEM advice from Nokia at the International Search Summit

Nokia’s Digital Media Strategy Manager, Steve Capone, is to speak on Global SEM at the International Search Summit in London in May. He will be looking at “How to run a Global SEM Business”: analysing different models for running international search campaigns and demonstrating how to effectively target a global audience.

This will be the sixth International Search Summit and is taking place on 13th May, 2010 at The Barbican in London. It will cover some of the recent developments in international search marketing including mobile search, video optimisation and Twitter.

DMC Software unveil how to unlock the true potential of SalesLogix with SalesLogix Mobile

The DMC Software SalesLogix Mobile Prelaunch Events are scheduled for 2nd and 3rd February 2010 in London and Peterborough respectively. At each event experts from DMC, Sage and Livvy’s will explore the potential SalesLogix Mobile offers a business, including a demonstration using the Blackberry platform. In addition, all delegates will have the opportunity to sign up for a 30 Day FREE no obligation trial, which will include 3-5 BlackBerry devices pre-loaded with SalesLogix Mobile and all training materials.

SalesLogix Mobile was originally launched several years ago however due to the Technology available it was unsuccessful. However, for the latest version of SalesLogix Mobile, SalesLogix Mobile v5.6, Sage recruited expertise from BlackBerry to aid the design and functionality. SalesLogix Mobile now delivers a full working version of SalesLogix onto any BlackBerry or Windows Mobile device and is due for launch on 15th February 2010.

Digital marketing roundtable debates Google’s move towards a desktop offering

The recent Digital Marketing Conversations podcast, hosted by Knexus’ Graeme Foux, examines the impact of the latest Google phone, the HTC Hero, and the company’s move towards its own desktop operating system, which was recently announced through its corporate blog.

The panel which includes Niall O’Malley, group account director of immediate future, Justin Rees from Leadpoint and Dusan Hamlin from Inside Mobile, debate the change in Google’s approach to transparency from a marketer’s perspective. 27 May 2009 – London – The number of people using their mobile device to access news and information online more than doubled from January 2008 to January 2009.

Among the 63.2 million people who accessed news and information on their mobile devices in January 2009, 22.4 million (35%) did so daily; more than double the size of the audience last year

Mobile social network “Qeep” recently reached 100,000 registered users, with registrants continuing to arrive at a rate of 1,500 to 2,000 new users per day. The network has won increased worldwide attention by adapting to suit the needs of an international market.
