Iceland named Top 10 Travel Destination for 2010 by Lonely Planet

IcelandGlobal travel guidebook giant, Lonely Planet this week released its Best Travel in 2010 book with 17 top travel lists. One list names Iceland among the best value for money travel destinations in the coming year. Iceland has always been a great place to visit; but its reputation as a value destination is entirely new.

Iceland ranks in the top ten best value places to visit in 2010, according to The Lonely Planet’s new Best in Travel 2010 book, released this week. The book is the publisher’s fifth annual collection of the world’s best journeys, destinations, and experiences for the coming year. Read more…
