DMC Software: CRM software boosts customer retention

April 30th, 2009 Jenny No comments

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is designed to facilitate strong client relationships and customer loyalty by providing businesses with the tools to improve customer service levels. A successfully implemented CRM solution allows a business to update customer information, schedule regular communications and better utilise available resources. Having a single location where customer data resides allows each user to have the same view of a client’s history, enabling a quicker response to changing customer needs and requirements.

Neil Slater, professional services manager at DMC Software Solutions, a leading Sage and Microsoft CRM solution provider, explicates, “We are currently in the thick of a recession and the best way for companies to keep afloat and reduce expenditure is to focus efforts on retaining business and not acquiring it. CRM is an essential tool for any business regardless of size because it enables you to know your customers businesses, based on this information you can recommend the right products and services to help them to grow. By providing customers with sound advice and good products they will return to you when their needs change, or they need further support down the line.”

CRM Software is quickly becoming the essential business tool with industry experts proclaiming CRM is ‘an imperative not an option during the downturn’. However, there are many CRM solutions and deployment options to choose from. The Sage CRM solution and Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions are well established names in the world of CRM providing different ranges to suit different business needs and budgets. Sage CRM products include ACT! by Sage, Sage CRM and SalesLogix.

CRM is quickly becoming more accessible to businesses at the small end of the spectrum with the introduction of Software as a Service (SaaS.) SaaS is a cost effective solution engineered specifically to provide small and medium sized businesses with full access to CRM software, updates, maintenance and technical support for a small monthly fee. Both ACT! SaaS and Microsoft Dynamics Sofware as a Service (SaaS) offer businesses comprehensive CRM functionality at the fraction of the cost and demands of a traditional on-premise solution.

DMC Software is proud to announce the introduction of Sage SalesLogix Automation

April 16th, 2009 Jenny No comments

Sage SalesLogix CRM is made up of separate modules to provide sales, marketing and customer service functions with the tools to improve management of business relationships with clients, prospects and suppliers. Sage SalesLogix CRM has been built on a customisable platform which enables business partners, such as DMC Software, to customise and develop the solution to meet the exact needs and business processes of client organisations.

As commercial pressures increase it becomes more difficult for CRM operatives to fulfil customer needs while meeting the administrative requirements outlined by management. This problem is faced every day across many organisations and has become the driving force for DMC Software to provide a solution. DMC Software, harnessing the power of Orbis Task Centre technology has developed a way of automating manual tasks to improve workforce productivity.

Mike Ramsay, managing director of DMC Software, explains, “With SalesLogix Automation the possibilities are endless, the need for manual administration can be removed completely and operational costs are vastly reduced. SalesLogix Automation can cater for basic needs, such as the import of customer details from web forms directly into the database, through to more complex processes, including renewal identification, document creation, communication and scheduling of follow up calls. For many of our customers SalesLogix Automation has radically transformed the way in which they do business.”

SalesLogix Automation from DMC Software supports improved customer acquisition and retention rates through intelligent customer lifecycle management. Moreover, SalesLogix Automation allows resources to be utilised to better effect, freeing time to be spent attending to more important aspects of business. DMC Software advise businesses on how to get the most from CRM

March 30th, 2009 Jenny No comments

Understanding CRM will help users be more efficient, thus enhancing business succession. DMC Software explains how to get the most from your CRM implementation to achieve optimum efficiency.

It is commonplace for businesses to implement a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution expecting a quick fix to all sales process issues, only to be disappointed and dismiss the idea in a quick succession. CRM is more than just software and many businesses, when implementing CRM, fail to realise the importance of a number of key issues. A CRM system is only as good as the data entered therefore it must be part of a wider philosophy and a complete culture within any organisation. .

CRM users can be discouraged by a “Big Bang” approach and hinder their daily working practice, leaving them feeling pressurised into learning a highly complex system and use it correctly from day one. A more gentle approach to implementation should be considered in favour of this, providing users with time to familiarise themselves with a solution ahead of the “go live”date. Read more…
