Interest for independent travel in Iceland grows amongst travel blogs

According to travel blogs, interest for independent travel in Iceland is growing and has raised interest amongst popular blogs such as the Huffington Post, which recently posted an article titled “27 Reasons Iceland Is The Most Wonderful Country To Ever Exist”.

The article begins by stating that Iceland is a “lush, green wonderland worthy of envy from the entire Nordic world” and continues with 27 reasons that praise the merits of Iceland’s wonders, such as the Midnight Sun, the countless waterfalls and the emblematic puffin.

It has been noted that one of the best ways for travellers to explore the Iceland is to experience it at their own pace, which is made possible by independent travel.

“Iceland On Your Own“ is a coach network run during the summer season in Iceland by Reykjavik Excursions, in cooperation with SBA-Nordurleid, which allows independent travellers to travel from one destination to another with ease via a selection of bus passports.

The passport offers bus transfer from Reykjavik to a selection of routes that pass by some of the areas featured in Huffington Post’s article, such as the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon or the Golden Circle.

Travellers can choose between multiple passports which a valid for a variety of routes and time frames.
